Send each hedge or shrub from a distance, both ends where possible, the access route and an approximate length and height. Mark the desired finished line.
Can you trim if birds are nesting?
No work should disturb an active nest. The affected plant or section must be postponed or left untouched until it can legally and safely be worked on.
Can every hedge be cut back hard?
No. Species and plant condition matter, and some hedges will not regrow from old wood. A staged or lighter reduction may be the responsible option.
Is green-waste removal included?
Only when listed in the quote. Cutting volume can expand significantly once loose, so removal is assessed from dimensions and photographs.
Do you work from a neighbour’s garden?
Only with confirmed permission and safe access. Boundary ownership and access arrangements remain the customer’s responsibility.
Is hedge trimming the same as tree surgery?
