Planning begins with photographs of every relevant elevation, pane count, floor level, opening style and obstacles. We ask whether internal faces, frames, sills, doors, rooflights or conservatory glass are included. Parking, water access and public footpaths matter for external methods. Paint, cement, adhesive, silicone, mineral deposits and post-construction residue are declared because ordinary maintenance cleaning may not remove them safely.

At arrival, the cleaner confirms glass and access. External work zones are checked for vehicles, neighbours, overhead lines, fragile surfaces and pedestrians. Water-fed pole methods can clean appropriate high glazing from the ground, while some recessed or obstructed panes need another assessed solution. Ladders are not used as a default route to inaccessible work, and fragile roofs or unsafe balconies are not crossed.

For external glass, loose soil is flushed and compatible frames are agitated to the included scope before glass receives a controlled rinse. Pure-water results rely on correct technique and drying, not wiping every high pane. Internally, nearby items are moved by agreement, floors protected and liquid controlled. Glass, edges and accessible sills are detailed with suitable tools, avoiding damage to films, leaded sections, loose putty and delicate finishes.

The completed glazing is reviewed from practical angles. Scratches, failed double-glazed seals, internal condensation, etching and mineral damage can remain because they are not removable surface soil. Weather can quickly mark clean exterior glass, and rain itself is not proof of poor work where surrounding frames or pollution cause new runoff. Handover identifies inaccessible panes, permanent defects and any restoration or repair assessment needed.
