WALL FIXING / ANTI-TIP
Permission and restraint
must be planned together.
When manufacturer instructions call for anchoring, a tenant should raise the required property attachment before booking. Furniture assembly alone does not establish a suitable wall-fixing arrangement.
- Identify the exact product’s anti-tip requirement.
- Assess wall construction and appropriate restraint fixings.
- Consider concealed pipes and cables before drilling.
- Confirm relevant landlord or property permission for the attachment.
Wall fixing proceeds only where suitable and agreed. If required restraint cannot yet be completed, the furniture must not be used contrary to its instructions or described as ready for use.
